What Was Truly Miraculous
Théa Angèle had multiple sclerosis for six years. She was cured at Lourdes on 20 May 1950. The Bishop of Tarbes-Lourdes declared the cure miraculous in 1961. MS has no cure; complete and lasting remission is not a recognised medical outcome.
Why It Can't Be Dismissed
The Lourdes Medical Bureau gathered documentation; the International Medical Committee (C.M.I.L.) affirmed the cure was inexplicable in the current state of medical knowledge. The Bishop of Tarbes-Lourdes recognized it on 28 June 1961. MS has no cure; complete remission is not a recognised outcome. The disease does not reverse.
